Responsibilities
- Authenticate a variety of luxury items, applying in-depth brand knowledge and market insight
- Inspect detailed product features such as stitching, logos, and serial numbers to confirm authenticity
- Utilise advanced tools and technology to perform thorough and accurate authentication
- Maintain detailed records and produce comprehensive reports of findings
- Liaise with brand representatives, manufacturers, and industry experts as required
- Develop and deliver training programmes on luxury brand authentication
- Keep up to date with evolving brand characteristics, market trends, and industry standards
The Ideal Candidate
- Has a minimum of 5 years’ experience working for a recognised luxury merchant
- Possesses extensive knowledge of luxury brands and their distinct features
- Is skilled in using advanced authentication tools and technology
- Demonstrates strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders
- Brings proven experience in luxury goods authentication
- Is committed to continual learning and staying ahead of industry trends and authentication techniques
- Has the capability to design and implement training programmes on authentication
The annual base salary range for this role is 35,000 – 80,000 € per year, depending on background and experience. Applicants must be legally authorised to work locally at the time of application. This position operates within a formal office environment, where professional dress is required at all times. To maintain focus and productivity, personal mobile phone use is limited to the lunch break, and snacking is not permitted during working hours.
